I have watched TharnType The Series twice, and though these character's toxicity is something worth talking about, I couldn't help but be invested in the storyline and their developments. When I saw that the book was available on Kindle, I purchased it in the blink of an eye and read the entire thing in like two to three nights.That being said, as much as I really liked their storyline, THE TRANSLATION IS EXTREMELY POORLY DONE. I understand that the original language is Thai and that it would be hard for a non-native English speaker to translate it, but at some parts in the book, I wondered if they even tried. The text switches between first-person and third-person POV a lot for some reason, and there are some other bits that you will have to read multiple times to understand what is actually happening.Despite all, I do believe that it helped me understand the series a little bit better in regards to Type's feelings. The book does have some extra R rated scenes that did not appear in the series, but plot-wise, it's basically the same (it reaches up to episode 6 or so).Since I re-watched TT not that long ago, I'm not gonna read the second book until maybe later this year. Hopefully by then, we get a better translation of the story. I love TharnType the Series and adore MewGulf! As a reader I really wanted to experience the TharnType books. Unfortunately, had I not been very familiar with the series I would not have been able to make my way through this translation. I highly recommend that if you, like me, are determined to read this story then watch TharnType the series. Mame is a wonderful storyteller and I wish they had a better translation.
